Welcome to H2O Swimming Works

H2O Swimming Works is owned and operated by Anita Killmier.

Structured sessions are conducted at pools in the City of Stonnington in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs but H2O can also arrange professional sessions elsewhere.

We operate at 4 locations in Stonnington:

1. Lauriston Girls School - Armadale
2. The Swim Studio - East Malvern
3. Prahran Aquatic Centre - Prahran
4. South Yarra Sports Centre (Melbourne High School) Prahran

We are thrilled to announce that from January 31st 2012 we will also be conducting swimming Lessons at GEELONG GRAMMAR SCHOOL at:

5.  The Handbury Wellbeing Centre 50 Biddlecombe Avenue, Corio

Our Learn to Swim Program offers lessons from the age of 4, from beginners to advanced.
We provide every child with a positive, enjoyable environment and a program based on sound scientific principles. To achieve this we provide a systematic, graded program with 7 Learn to Swim levels. Older learners can be catered for as well, though most choose to have private lessons that can be arranged at most locations.  Our Swim Studio is the perfect venue for those who want to be away from public scrutiny.

Swimmers can then graduate into one of our 5 progressive squad levels.  Our aim is to allow swimmers irrespective of age or ability, to excel to their potential by providing pathways for everyone to achieve their goals, irrespective of how lofty or modest those may be. In that regard, we don't differentiate between old or young, fast or slow - we treat everyone equally as 'swimmers'.  Our swimmers include those who swim for

Programs are run on school-term dates as well as school-holiday intensive.  NO lessons take place on public holidays.

Private lessons with H2O team of industry-qualified coaches and teachers (click here for staff profiles) are available too.

Our philosophy can perhaps best be summed up by our motto:

SWIM TO LIVE; LIVE TO SWIM

So great is our passion for swimming and our belief that it is indisputably the best form of exercise for all, we want to share the joy and the benefits by providing a variety of programmes that cater for the needs of every member within a family as they age, irrespective of ability. We have third generation swimmers now learning in our program; mums swimming for fitness in our daytime squads, parents in private lessons learning to swim or improving their strokes, while others train in our various adult training squads.  We even have families who train together.  We hope to be your "Swim School For Life."

The business is a registered member of Swim Australia, which certifies swim schools that meet stringent benchmarks and guidelines. It also ensures that we are kept up-to-date with the latest developments in learn-to-swim and water safety.
