H2O Swimmer breaks National Records

Jennie Bucknell, our 43 year old 'wonder mum' smashed 4 Masters National Records for her 40 to 44 year old age group whilst competing at the Victorian State Open Championships on the weekend. Competing against swimmers more than 20 years younger, Jennie showed her versatility by breaking the 50m Freestyle, Butterfly and Backstroke records, slicing nearly a second off the latter.
Her most satisfying swim however came in the 100m Freestyle where she smashed Australian swimming legend Shane Gould's record by nearly a second, going under the one minute barrier for the first time. It was a PB for Jennie by nearly 2 seconds. Jennie's time of 59.67 placed her a credible 7th against the best, (and considerably younger) swimmers in Victoria. I am sure it added much spectator interest and proves that 'age shall not weary them'. Congratulations Jennie!
