HOLIDAY INTENSIVE PROGRAMS - Learn to Swim
Our holiday intensives are run at ST CATHERINE'S, Toorak.
PLEASE NOTE: We do NOT run any Holiday Programs at Lauriston Girls School

Intensives can have a significant impact on a student’s development of skill and can be seen as 'Fast Tracking' a child's progress. This continuous period of swimming allows students to consolidate their swimming skills, it’s like doing half a term in a week!
Group lessons run for 45 minutes, with students attending every day for a five day period. At times, private lessons are also offered for 30 minutes and if available 45 minutes. Children are able to revise skills each day and teachers can focus more lesson time introducing new skills.
When availability allows we also run specialty 'one-off' lessons that cater for children who want to improve specific skills, such as starts and turns.
Most parents witness big changes in their child’s swimming ability and/or confidence after the third or fourth day. Holiday programs are a good way of reinforcing the skills your child has learnt during their school swimming term, and can be useful for those children who have hit a stumbling block.
Holidays intensive weeks can also be a nice introductory week for students who have recently been promoted to the next level, and can use the holiday time to settle in to their new level, or particularly timid or fearful children.
If you are a new customer, or returning and uncertain about your child's level, please click here to book a MELBOURNE assessment.
