What to Wear
- Correct swim wear is important.
- Firm fitting one (1) piece for girls & lycra Speedo style togs for boys.
- Board shorts fill with water, chafe & flap around the legs causing drag.
- If modesty is an issue or if a swimmer feels cold then we recommend ToasTees wetsuit in our first 3 levels.
- ToasTees are made of a fine neoprene for insulation but do not impede movement.
- Regular lycra rash vests don’t add warmth and if not firm fitting, add drag and hinder arm movements.
- All swimmers are recommended to wear goggles, also available for purchase from Pool Reception.
Parental Supervision
- Parents/Carers are NOT to leave the pool complex if children in their care are UNDER the age of 10yo.
- Children must know where their parents will be throughout their lesson.
- Parents/Carers are responsible for their children AT ALL TIMES.
Class Coloured Caps
- New starters received a cap free-of-charge during Week 1 of the Term.
- It is mandatory that ALL swimmers wear their H2O cap to classes.
- Cap colours assist swimmers find their class, especially when doing Makeups
- Cap colours assist the Pool Deck Supervisor ensure swimmers are in their correct class level
- On promotion to a New Level, swimmers are given a new cap free-of-charge.
- Replacement caps are available to purchase at pool reception.
- To increase cap life, dry and sprinkle talcum powder inside after each use.
- Silicone caps are also available to purchase if you require a slightly larger fit or want a longer wearing cap.
Assessments
- We continually assess through out the term and will promote swimmers depending on space
- We formally assess ALL swimmers over the last 3 weeks of every term.
Re-Booking Next Term
- Your time/day space rolls over automatically to the next term unless your swimmer has been promoted
- Promoted swimmers will need to find a new space
- To secure your current time/day next term, payment must be made by the 2nd last lesson of term
- All Unpaid spaces will then be declared vacant and offered to Promoted and Wait-listed swimmers.
